BabyWatch Live is developed by Caio Studio ("we", "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account Information: Apple ID identifier, name, and email (provided via Sign in with Apple). We do not see your Apple ID password.
• Child Information: Baby's name, date of birth, and age profile that you enter manually.
• Device Information: Device name, device identifier, and APNS token for push notifications.
• Monitoring Data: Sleep session timestamps, detected events (crying, motion, noise levels), and sleep scores. This data is generated by on-device signal processing.
• Video and Audio: Video and audio streams are transmitted directly between your devices (peer-to-peer) or via Agora.io's encrypted servers. We do not record, store, or access your video or audio streams on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the baby monitoring service between your devices.
• To generate sleep reports and analytics for you.
• To send push notifications about detected events (crying, motion).
• To manage your subscription status.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Agora.io: Video/audio streaming infrastructure. Their privacy policy applies to stream data.
• Apple: For Sign in with Apple and subscription management.
• Family Members: If you share access with family members via share codes, they can view the live camera feed.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Account and monitoring data is stored on secured servers with encrypted database connections.
• Authentication uses JWT tokens with HMAC-SHA256 signing.
• Video and audio are never stored on our servers — only transmitted in real-time between devices.
• Detection features (cry detection, motion detection) run entirely on your device.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Sleep session history is kept for reporting purposes. You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Delete Account" option in the app's Settings.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the app.
• Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Delete Account.
• Portability: You can export sleep reports as PDF from the Reports section.

7. Children's Privacy

BabyWatch Live is designed for parents and caregivers to monitor babies. The app is not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Important Medical Disclaimer

BabyWatch Live is NOT a medical device. Features like sound analysis and movement detection are provided as supplementary tools only. They are based on algorithmic estimation and should never replace direct parental supervision, medical monitoring equipment, or professional medical advice. Always follow safe sleep guidelines recommended by your pediatrician.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
